Our client is one of the largest beauty retailer operating over 500 stores within the United States.

Business Challenge:

The client had never worked with a BW on HANA system and had not installed one in-house either.

They were looking for expert services to assist in the BW on HANA installation activities.

Another concern was that they needed to ensure adequate knowledge transfer to their resources to enable them to support and further develop the system after the initial installation and implementation. They knew keeping the project and system knowledge in-house was critical to allowing their internal team to expand and grow.

  • Installed BW on HANA and related SAP Netweaver components
  • Provided spot consulting to trouble system & end-user issues
  • Conducted Performance Tuning Advisory Services to Technology IT team
  • Performed BW on HANA Database update and patching as out-of-box software from HANA vendor didn’t meet Project requirements
  • Co-owned executing Technical quality checks all along BW on HANA system implementation
  • Proactively referenced all key subject matter topics and documentation areas which prepared them to face the future problems with improved understanding of subject matter.
  • Provided expert guidance on integrating BW on HANA with SAP ALM 7.1 system for proactive monitoring and alerting. Also assisted in enabling E2E root cause analysis standards for BW on HANA solution operations.
  • Providing on-demand BW on HANA technical knowledge transfer to client Basis folks with highest quality and customer satisfaction


The project was run for 45 days under the able guidance of a chief architect from TekLink’s Technical Services team.
